UAE: BCCI Secretary Jay Shah met UAE’s Culture, Youth and Social Development Minister Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan and thanked him for his “lasting friendship and vision”. He believed that BCCI and UAE will “overcome trying times and challenges, together”. The BCCI secretary met the minister forward of the resumption of IPL 2021 that’s to be performed in UAE from 19 September.
Shah additionally thanked Dubai Sports City President, Khalid Al Zarooni. On the event, Shah gifted the minister with a cricket bat signed by the members of the Indian cricket crew.

There are 31 remaining matches within the IPL 2021. It would be the first time that the IPL shall be held in UAE for 2 consecutive years. The IPL shall be performed from September 19 to October 15 within the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
